► Big Band

We are the “York St John Students’ Union Big Band”. We were formed about five years ago. Our repertoire consists of many genres of music but mainly focuses on the traditional big band standards. We are a very friendly group of people, always interested in having fun and making great music. We won Society of the year 07/08 and Won Spark society of the year as well as the award for most improved society 09/10. We welcome instrumentalists from all styles of playing; if you love this kind of music, get in touch.
