The following is the campaigns that your Students' Union are planning to run this coming year.

SSHH!: Silent Students Happy Homes The York St John campus and halls of residences are based in residential areas. We like to make sure our neighbours aren't too disrupted by us being here, so we ask you to please be quiet on your way home!	Money Awareness From speaking with students, we know that money can sometimes be tight. For many of you it's your first time living away from home, which may mean you find it difficult to manage your finances, so we run a campaign to try and make it easier for you.
Look After Yourself Quite simply, we want to make sure you're as happy and healthy as you can be during your time at University, so will provide ample imformation to help you look after yourself.	International Involvement The Students' Union is a place for every YSJ student, and this campaign is to make sure that our International students have a great experience.
Be Part Of It There's so much to get invovled in at York St John, we don't want you to miss out! So why not check out our Be Part Of It programme to see what's there for you.	Happy Campus There are times of the year where the stress levels rise, but we aim to keep them down. Happy Campus does what it says on the tin, and keeps the YSJ campus smiling!
Programme Reps Programme Representatives help to make changes for the better in every programme of study in every year. Sign up to be a fully trained Rep to represent your coursemates in issues that are important to them.	Housing We are here to help resolve issues you may have with your accommodation, whether it be halls of residence, or a private house.
More Than Just A Bar The Students' Union has great commerical outlets, however there's much much more that goes on! We like to shout really loud about it in this campaign. Otherwise, see the other sections of this website for details about what great opportunities we provide for you, and how we represent you the student.	Elections The 3 Sabbatical Officers, and student officer representatives are appointed by elections open to all students. To make sure you know exactly what's going on we let you know well in advance with a campaign about it.
Safety of Students Keeping our students safe.	Careers Isn't Scary The University has an excellent Careers service to help you find the job of your dreams (or a part-time job whilst you're studying). It's not scary at all! We signpost you to all the info you may need.
Tell Us What You Think We need to know what you think so we can do what's best for you. Look out for comment cards around campus and in our building.	National Student Survey The NSS is about getting the opinion of final year students, to find out how we can benefit students in the future. Our overall satisfaction rate for 2010/11 is 84%.
Big Wins At the end of each academic year we like to reflect on our biggest victories, in all areas, and feedback the changes we make on behalf of YSJ students.
