Men’s Football
York St John’s men’s football club is an opportunity not to be missed, here at St John’s we aim to cater for all abilities. Men’s football has 5 team’s competing in BUCS; 2 team’s that play in the local Saturday league and one Sunday league team.
Men’s football is classed as the biggest club here at St Johns and officially the best after winning club of the year for 2008/09 and doesn’t fail to give its member’s a guaranteed good time. Most feel university wouldn’t be the same without “Those Magnificent Boys”.
On the playing side and social side we welcome everyone, and encourage people to get involved in the priceless experiences.
The social side is second to none where we all socialise together, whether it is a night out, a social, or simply just after a game.
“Remember you’re here for a good time, not a long time”, so if interested in football and more importantly making the most of your university life, come and sign up with the club, and I ensure you will quickly fit in, and become part of the university elite.
