Project – Older active people/ Care workers - There is a lack of social activities in this area of York for older people. Some volunteers are needed to organise and run day trips for older people. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy please get in touch. We are working with a local care home, where students will go and sit with the older people and do activities, arts, crafts and anything they would like to do! Good for future careers in social care setting, Occupational Therapy or any of the caring professions. Click here for more information.

The Cinnamon Trust - is a national charity which helps elderly and disabled people look after their animals and thereby to keep their animals with them. They arrange dog walking, animal fostering, giving lifts to the vets etc but the greatest need is for dog walking. For more information please get in touch.
