Search Engine access point volunteer at the National Railway museum - To welcome and provide orientation to visitors of Search Engine and thus help create a world class customer service for their visitors, whilst also enhancing their experience and enjoyment of the research service and build upon the positive reputation of the museum and its collections.  Click here for more information.

DIG Front of house assistant - To help run the shop and admissions area, create a welcoming first impression for our visitors and help deliver our archaeological tours to the public and school parties.

Barley Hall Front of House assistant - To help run the shop and admissions area and create a welcoming first impression for our visitors. To undertake a Room Stewarding role to explain the history of the Hall to visitors.

Jorvik Greeter - To help us deliver a high level of customer service to visitors to the JORVIK Viking Centre by assisting with the care of visitors in the queue for the centre.This is initially a short-term project for up to a year.

To act as a guide in a room of Micklegate Bar to explain the Bar’s history, any exhibitions and specific items in the rooms. Click here for a full role description.
