As a student you will undoubtedly come into contact with a wide range of drugs
It is important to bear in mind that all drugs can create problems, either for the drug user, or for the other people affected by the actions of the drug user.
These problems may be physical, emotional or financial. Drugs can be defined into three separate areas – stimulants, hallucinogens and depressants each with varying effects.
Using drugs carries a range of physical and mental health risks, and the only certain way to eliminate these is to not use any drugs at all. If a person does choose to take any form of drugs, they must accept the possible risks.
Remember that mixing drugs, especially with alcohol can lead to unpredictable and dangerous effects. Also the quality, strength and purity of any drug can vary greatly – there is no guaranteed safe experience!
